Bude

A trip to Bude is a must while you are here. With a chilled surfy seaside vibe, it has everything from a department store to a swish interiors shop, a really good wine and coffee shop to ice-cream, fudge and buckets and spades - you name it, it's there. In addition, there are places to eat (fish and chips, curry etc) and not forgetting the beaches. Crooklets and Summerleaze which are stunning and with ample car parking nearby. Both benefit from beach side cafes (Rosies at Crooklets and Life's a Beach at Summerleaze) so you can either go after a walk on the beach or simply sit there and while away the day.
